IBERDROLA Inmobiliaria expondrá dos proyectos en el Congreso Internacional de Arquitectura Ciudad y Energía 2008 (10/27/2008)
El complejo de oficinas Porta Firal, en Barcelona, y el proyecto de viviendas
bioclimáticas Las Caléndulas Residencial, en Jun (Granada), ambos desarrollados
por IBERDROLA Inmobiliaria, han sido seleccionados para ser expuestos en el
Congreso Internacional de Arquitectura, Ciudad y Energía, CIBARQ 08.
De este modo, la Compañía tendrá la ocasión de ratificar en la tercera edición
de este evento, que se celebrará los próximos 30 y 31 de octubre en Pamplona,
su decidida apuesta por el respeto al medio ambiente y por el desarrollo
sostenible, en línea con la del Grupo, y por el cambio de mentalidad en la
promoción inmobiliaria.
En este sentido, ambos proyectos de IBERDROLA Inmobiliaria destacan por su
ahorro energético y por la reducción de su impacto en el ecosistema. Así,
respecto a una convencional, cada una de las 25 viviendas pareadas de Las
Caléndulas puede llegar a alcanzar un ahorro del 100% en climatización y del
37% en calefacción -con una rebaja en el importe anual de la factura de
electricidad y gas de un 30%- y de entre un 20% y un 30% en el consumo de agua.
Asimismo, Porta Firal, que ha recibido la calificación en eficiencia energética
A -la más exigente según el RD 47/2007-, se caracteriza por incorporar una gran
cantidad de medidas bioclimáticas, entre las que figuran: diseño diferenciado
de fachadas según orientación, regulación electrónica del sistema de
iluminación artificial, incorporación de sistemas de cogeneración con gas y de
energías renovables e implantación de un sistema de climatización equivalente a
una instalación de geotermia de baja temperatura.
Bajo el lema Regeneración Urbana, está previsto que en el transcurso de CIBARQ
08 se den a conocer nuevas soluciones que distintos arquitectos, ingenieros,
urbanistas y otros expertos de reconocido prestigio están adoptando para poder
afrontar el reto de reducir el gasto energético y de recursos naturales que
supone en la actualidad la construcción de las ciudades.
IBERDROLA Inmobiliaria es una empresa que ofrece una amplia cartera de
productos: primera vivienda, residencial turístico, oficinas, naves
industriales y centros comerciales, entre otros. En el ejercicio 2007 obtuvo un
beneficio neto de 118,3 millones €, el 7,3% más que el año anterior, y su cifra
de negocio alcanzó los 482,4 millones €.
Asimismo, la filial de IBERDROLA cerró 2007 con una superficie edificable sobre
rasante en cartera para promociones residenciales y terciarias de más de 3
millones de metros cuadrados y una cartera de patrimonio en explotación de
345.527 metros cuadrados.

bioclimatic dwellings in Granada, are noteworthy for their energy savings and
for the reduction of their environmental impact
The Porta Firal office complex in Barcelona, and the Las Caléndulas bioclimatic
dwellings project in Jun (Granada), both developed by IBERDROLA Inmobiliaria,
have been selected to be exhibited at the International City And Energy
Architecture Congress, CIBARQ 08.
The event, which is in its third year will be held in Pamplona on the 30 and 31
October and will give the Company the chance reassert its decided commitment to
respecting the environment and to sustainable development, in line with the
Group's policy, and to changing attitudes in real estate development.
Both of IBERDROLA Inmobiliaria's projects are noteworthy for their energy
savings and for the reduction of their environmental impact. Compared to a
conventional house, each one of the 25 paired house of Las Caléndulas can
attain a saving of 100% in air conditioning and 37% in heating – with a 30%
reduction in the annual electricity and gas bill - and a saving in water
consumption of between 20% and 30%.
Similarly, Porta Firal, which has received an A-rating in energy efficiency –
the most exacting according to RD 47/2007 -, has incorporated a large quantity
of bioclimatic measures, including: differential façade design depending on
orientation, electronic regulation of the artificial lighting system,
incorporation of co-generation systems with gas and renewable energies and
installation of an air conditioning system equivalent to a low temperature
geothermal installation.
Under the slogan Urban Regeneration, it is hoped that the CIBARQ 08 will be the
occasion for introducing new solutions which different architects, engineers,
city planners and other recognised experts are adopting to be able to meet the
challenge of reducing the current level of waste in energy and natural
ressources involved in the construction of cities.
IBERDROLA Inmobiliaria is an enterprise which offers a wide portfolio of
products: first housing, tourist residential, offices, industrial factory space
and shopping centres, among others. Net profits for the 2007 fiscal year were
€118.3 million, 7.3% up on the year before, with turnover reaching €482.4
million.
Furthermore, the IBERDROLA subsidiary closed 2007 with a portfolio of building
area above grade for residential and tertiary development of more than 3
million square metres and 345,527 square metres of property in use.
