IBERDROLA Inmobiliaria ha presentado hoy el proyecto para desarrollar un parque
industrial y logístico en Jédula, en el transcurso de un acto celebrado en el
recinto ferial de esta pedanía de la localidad gaditana de Arcos de la Frontera.
Dicho evento ha contado con la presencia, entre otras personalidades, del
Delegado del Gobierno en Cádiz, José Antonio Gómez Periñán, la Alcaldesa de
Arcos, Josefa Caro, acompañada por el resto de la corporación municipal, así
como del Director General de esta filial de IBERDROLA, Emilio Sánchez, y del
Delegado en Andalucía de la Compañía, Alberto Yarte.
Esta nueva iniciativa de IBERDROLA Inmobiliaria, con la que la Empresa afianza
su interés por la provincia de Cádiz, apuesta por la creación de una zona
logístico-industrial de primer nivel para almacenaje, producción y distribución
en la que se integren servicios terciarios, I+D+i, zonas tecnológicas y áreas
de negocio para empresas altamente competitivas.
El Parque Industrial y Logístico Jédula, cuyo desarrollo se llevará a cabo en
varias fases, abarcará un área de casi 360.400 metros cuadrados y contará con
una superficie edificable de alrededor de 173.000 metros cuadrados. El inicio
de las obras de urbanización está previsto para el último trimestre de 2010 y
la Compañía prevé que éstas puedan culminar en el segundo trimestre de 2012.
La elección de Jédula para el emplazamiento de este nuevo parque industrial y
logístico, que quiere convertirse en un recinto pionero en el ámbito de la
sostenibilidad, en línea con la estrategia del Grupo IBERDROLA, responde a la
inmejorable comunicación con Jerez, la Comarca de la Sierra y el resto de la
provincia de Cádiz, gracias al acceso directo que tiene a la autovía, así como
con las provincias de Sevilla y Málaga.
Gracias a este desarrollo, IBERDROLA Inmobiliaria afianza su presencia en la
zona, donde ha promovido viviendas y edificios de oficinas -Jerez y Puerto de
Santa María- y en la que está construyendo en la actualidad el edificio de
oficinas Jerez Centro de Negocios.
Esta filial de IBERDROLA es una empresa que ofrece una amplia cartera de
productos: primera vivienda, residencial turístico, oficinas, naves
industriales y centros comerciales, entre otros. En el ejercicio 2007 obtuvo un
beneficio neto de 118,3 millones €, el 7,3% más que el año anterior, y su cifra
de negocio alcanzó los 482,4 millones €.
IBERDROLA Inmobiliaria cerró 2007 con una superficie edificable sobre rasante
en cartera para promociones residenciales y terciarias de más de 3 millones de
metros cuadrados y una cartera de patrimonio en explotación de 345.527 metros
cuadrados.

and is expected to be operational by 2012, is the company’s fifth initiative in
this region, where it is currently developing the “Jerez Centro de Negocios”
office building.

IBERDROLA Inmobiliaria today presented its project to develop an industrial and
logistics park in Jédula at an act held at this district of the town of Arcos
de la Frontera, near Cádiz.
Among those attending the event was was the head of the central government’s
delegation in Cádiz, José Antonio Gómez Periñan, the Mayor of Arcos, Josefa
Caro, accompanied by the rest of the municipal council members, the general
manager of IBERDROLA's subsidiary, Emilio Sánchez, and the company’s
representative for Andalusia, Alberto Yarte.
This new initiative developed by IBERDROLA Inmobiliaria, which reinforces the
company’s interest in the province of Cádiz, envisages the creation of a
premium logistics/industrial area for storage, production and distribution,
with tertiary services, R+D+i, technological areas and business areas for
highly competitive companies.
The Jédula Industrial and Logistics Park will be developed in several phases
and occupy an area of almost 360,400 square metres, with a buildable area of
approximately 173,000 square metres. Construction work is expected to start in
the last quarter of 2010 and is scheduled to be completed in the second quarter
of 2012.
Jédula was selected as the site for this new industrial and logistics park -
which aims to be a pioneering complex in the field of sustainability, in line
with IBERDROLA group strategy - due to its close proximity to the town of
Jerez, Comarca de la Sierra and the rest of the Cádiz province (direct motorway
access), and with the provinces of Seville and Málaga.
The development will strengthen IBERDROLA Inmobiliaria’s presence in the
region, where is has built housing and office buildings (in Jerez and Puerto de
Santa María) and where it is currently constructing the “Jerez Centro de
Negocios” office building.
This IBERDROLA subsidiary offers a wide range of products: primary housing and
second residences, office buildings, industrial warehouses and shopping
centres, among others. In full-year 2007 it reported net profit of €118.3
million, up 7.3% on the previous year, with revenues of €482.4 million.
At the end of 2007 IBERDROLA Inmobiliaria had a portfolio of permits for
residential and tertiary development of more than 3 million square metres, and
a rental asset portfolio of 345,527 square metres.
